Everyone starts high school with a clear page

High school is a place where you have to take stuff really serious and work really hard to succeed. Some people don’t like their high school because they think it’s bad but, once they get into that high school they wouldn’t want to leave it.

“I think it’s a good school because a lot of kids have a good education from there and learn well” Zeinab Bazzi a sixth grade student at Unis Middle School said. Some people slack off in school because they do not strive for a good education, but then they are not going to have fun in high school because you will have a bad reputation around your high school such as Dearborn, Fordson and Edsel.

Everyone likes their high school for something different. Hassan Hammoud likes fordson because “it’s where champions are formed and has a good structure it can build character and make you strong.”

Hussein Moukalled says Fordson is Dearborn’s best school because off its sports.

Don’t you get scared on your first day of high school walking into those 2 double doors? Because I know I do. Some 8th graders are changing high schools because they are scared. For example, Laith Albdyri was going to go to Fordson but he changed his mind because, “I saw the lockdown and the guy with the gun I was scared of Fordson.”

But you shouldn’t be scared of anything because there are two paths: you either go get an education or you don’t get an education.

Jawad Ayoub, an 8th grade student at Bryant Middle School, is going to Dearborn High school and said “because the education is more valued there.”

You’ll never know what happens in a high school until you step into it and when you step back out after 12th grade, you will be filled with happiness.

Unis Middle School

Unis School serves grades K-8 in the Dearborn Public School District. The school principal is Heyam Alcodray. These are its beliefs about education:
